Walk-In Coolers
Built for Toronto's
Commercial Kitchens.
Custom-designed walk-in coolers and freezers for Toronto restaurants, grocers, butchers, food processors, and cold storage facilities. Built in our Mississauga workshop, serviced 24/7 across the GTA.
Cold Storage That
Toronto Kitchens
Actually Run On.
From the Queen West dinner rush to Scarborough industrial kitchens, Toronto's food businesses run on cold storage that can't afford to fail. A warm cooler on a Friday night costs thousands in inventory and immeasurable damage to a restaurant's reputation.
Since 2013, Titan has designed, built, and installed custom walk-in coolers and freezers for Toronto restaurants, cafés, butchers, grocers, food processors, breweries, and cannabis facilities. Our Mississauga workshop sits 25 minutes from downtown Toronto, which means faster quotes, faster installs, and real 24/7 emergency coverage when something goes wrong at 2am.
We've built for Aroma Espresso Bar, Cumbrae's Butcher Shop, North of Brooklyn Pizza, IQ Foods, Black Walnut Café, and dozens of other Toronto operations — from 6×8 cooler boxes tucked into Ossington kitchens to warehouse-scale cold storage across the east end.
From Mississauga HQ to downtown Toronto — on site when it matters.
From site survey to commissioning on standard builds. Rush options available.

Cooler Questions.
Standard restaurant-scale walk-in coolers (6×8 to 10×12) take 2–4 weeks from deposit to commissioning. That window includes site survey, fabrication in our Mississauga workshop, delivery, and on-site installation — which itself is usually completed in 1–2 days with minimal kitchen downtime.
Larger builds (warehouse-scale, multi-zone, cannabis-spec) typically run 4–8 weeks. If you're on a rush timeline for a Toronto opening or retrofit, let us know — we can often accommodate accelerated builds.
It depends on menu size, service volume, and delivery frequency. A general guide for Toronto restaurants:
6×8 (48 sq ft): Cafés, small QSR concepts, bakeries. Holds roughly 2–3 days of prep for a 40-seat operation.
8×10 to 10×12: Mid-size restaurants, 80–150 seats. Most common Toronto restaurant footprint.
12×16+: High-volume kitchens, grocery prep, catering commissaries, or combo cooler/freezer builds.
We do a free site survey on every Toronto quote — come with your menu and we'll right-size it to match your actual workflow.
Yes — we install walk-in coolers in Toronto condos, mixed-use buildings, and commercial retail units on a regular basis. Our panels come cam-lock jointed and assemble on site, so they can fit through standard commercial doorways, service elevators, and tight back-of-house corridors.
Downtown Toronto installs often require condo management coordination for delivery windows, freight elevator booking, and noise-sensitive install hours. We handle that coordination directly with property management so you don't have to.
Our standard walk-in cooler panels are stucco-embossed aluminum with a foamed-in-place polyurethane core. Aluminum is the industry standard for commercial walk-ins — it's corrosion-resistant, lighter than stainless, easier to clean, and significantly more cost-effective without sacrificing durability or thermal performance.
We can upgrade interior or exterior skins to stainless steel for specific use cases — butcher shops, healthcare, cannabis curing, and high-wash-down environments. If stainless makes sense for your operation, we'll spec it.
Pricing varies significantly based on size, refrigeration package, panel spec, and site complexity. As rough guidance for Toronto installs:
Standard 6×8 cooler: typically starts in the low five figures, turnkey installed.
10×12 cooler / freezer combo: mid-five-figure range, turnkey.
Warehouse-scale builds: priced individually based on square footage, zone count, and rack integration.
We don't publish rate cards because an accurate quote requires a site survey. Every Titan quote itemizes every component — no vague "refrigeration package" line items.
Our Mississauga HQ puts us roughly 25 minutes from downtown Toronto, 15 minutes from the west end, and under an hour from anywhere in the GTA. For active emergency calls — compressor failure, temperature alarm, full system down — a technician is typically dispatched within 60–90 minutes of the call, 24 hours a day.
We service all major refrigeration brands including Heatcraft, Bohn, Hussmann, Kysor, Tyler, and Manitowoc. Same-day parts availability on common components.
Yes. All Titan walk-in coolers are built with NSF-certified components, CSA-approved electrical, and ETL-listed refrigeration packages. Panels, floors, door hardware, and interior finishes all meet Ontario commercial kitchen and food-premises code as enforced by Toronto Public Health.
For Toronto food-premises inspections and permitting, we can provide all supporting certification documentation with your install package.
Yes — we handle walk-in cooler removal, demolition, and relocation across Toronto and the GTA. Common scenarios: restaurant closures, kitchen renovations, tenant turnover, and business relocations where an existing cooler needs to move with you.
For relocations, we dismantle, transport, and reinstall your existing unit at the new site — often with upgrades to refrigeration or panel components where needed. See our relocation services page for scope and pricing guidance.
